Rattle from under X6
I've heard this part of my X6 rattling when I start my car up. Occasionally, with the windows open, I'll hear a light rattle reflected back at me off a nearby building. I had a friend start the car from ambient temperature (about 78F/23C) while my head was under the car. It's coming from here. What part of the under-side of my X6 is this? The catalytic converter? A heat shield? That's where the rattling is coming from. This isn't the infamous "waste gate" issue, is it? My X6 only has 29K miles on it. It's an N63 equipped X6.
