Needs Help
My wife's 04 X5 has nav. but not idrive.Within the last month the pixels are dropping off the screen in clumps, it appears as if they were scratched off from the inside. She spoke to BMW NA and they will cover 1/2 the cost of replacement and all the labor. The problem lies in that they want to replace the whole thing and not just the screen. This is still quite expensive. Can the screen by itself be replaced? Does anyone have any experience with this problem?
