Warranty thoughts
I did buy the extended maintenance through 100,000 miles on my 2009 X6. I am trading in the car with 29k miles and I will never use it. There is no rebate or discounting on a new warranty for my 2012. I love the idea of not paying maintenance but this wasn't a good decision for me.
You can buy it later for whatever the going rate is and that will be my next decision.
