Good idea. Put your own stuff on your own walls and see how people react.

See if you can find a local printer that understands your work and can produce it well. Try different papers, because that can really change the look of the final product. The online printers are okay, but there's nothing like seeing a printer's work and saying what you'd like in your own art.

Don't be intimidated about printing your own. The Canon Pixma Pro-100 comes with a LR plug-in that makes printing on various sizes and papers a breeze. I actually calibrated my prints to my monitor with only a handful of test shots. The user interface is intuitive and easy. The printer takes up 30" on the desk, but it's a very good use of real estate.
