Where'd you go?

Got my Nissens today from UPS (was waiting for her in my overalls), got it into the car about three hours later.

Replaced the radiator, and while I was down there, all three belt pulleys and both belts. The aluminum belt stretch tool that is very popular doesn't work on my car because I have a massive balancer on the driveshaft pulley. I used two screwdrivers and a lot of profanity.

BTW, I suspected that there was a cheap knockoff radiator in there. I was right. Some "CSF" crap made in Indonesia. Just like the Carquest oil filter and cheap oil I found in it when I bought it.

G&C Tire and Auto in Chantilly VA did most of the service work on this car before I bought it. Avoid them at all costs. They obviously screwed the previous owner. When I called them last week to asks what brand radiators they normally used, the goober stated "well, we ALWAYS use OEM parts, especially on BMW's".

Lying sack of shat.
