Along with replacing the Solenoids, I would check out doing one of the Sonnax Zip kits. I installed one in my ZF8HP, pretty easy to do overall. I think this plus new Solenoids would solve most of the issues discussed here. (call Sonnax first to verify which zip kit for your transmission)
