Maybe you can explain why latching to one of the pairs is wrong? I don't understand why there'd be any risk....
Update:
Ok. I should've google'd first. I understand the risk. However, it can be done and dependent on the MFR of the car seat and car mfr. Recaros (the one I used) are OK with it (greater than or less than 11" spacing) but not with BMWs.
