BMW has broken new ground w/ the X6.From the first time 3.5 years ago my neighbor returned from Munich and described the clay prototype of the X6,I sensed BMW was on to something big.Maybe because I was a perfect target customer ( some SUV utility, very sporty profile and very sporty driving experience)....the concept of the X6 made perfect sense to me.My neighbor ( a Dept Mgr at the Plant), was not sold on the X6 early on, as was quite a large number of local employee's).Whether you love or hate the X6,you have to tip your hat to the leadership of BMW for having the guts to stick out the development of this very unique automobile. As I've seen posted on this forum and many other X6 forums, the X6 has overnight, made all other SUV's look like "6k Flying Bricks". Just look at the side by side pic's of the X6 next to the current X5,RR Sport,Porsche Cayenne......etc. Thanks! PalBay
