With where you live, I would definitely consider it...
As you will see this winter, the problem is with stopping, and that's where the winter tires will shine.
One other thing to consider is, "non-directional tread pattern". It allows for a much better tire rotation, ie. left to right in addition to front to back with same size front/rear wheels.
Lastly...go back to last Nov,Dec, Jan...I believe we almost beat this to death!
