You need to know which production slot / week you have. Each car is scheduled for production, and dealers have slots (allocations) for each car during a specific week. Find out from dealer when that is, they know exactly.

Also once it starts production, it will be built in less than a week, then shipped to your dealer and prepped, so the timeline moves pretty quickly from there especially US built cars like the X6 to US destinations.

I placed my X6M order on Thanksgiving, it went into production about 3 weeks later, and it was shipped to the PCD a couple weeks after that. My dealer had to trade that slot with another dealer so that I could take the car in early January and keep the BMW Holiday and Loyalty credits.

I could have had the car Jan 7 (6 weeks out from order placement) and that included time for PCD to prep the car and give me a PCD date. Due to work, I got to my my new baby on the 17th, though.

Good luck I know the wait is not easy!
