We were. I was just referring to the fact that grilling/BBQing has a "fun factor" to it. The social aspect is what makes it so appealing. All that goes out the window with a meat boiler. |
Steak takes like 10 minutes to make on the grill.
You throw it in the sous vide before anyone arrives .. People get there just as sous vide is done... Take em out.. Throw em on the grill for a couple minutes to get some color.. Eat.. Drink .. Repeat.
As fun as it is.. You can't compare steaks done with sous vide to anything else. It's not even close.
