1.6 miles is actually not that bad condiering that a majority of the bad gas mileage for the X6 comes from dead stop to acceleration up to speed. The overall combined mileage is quite impressive and the fact that it essentially accelerates about the same as the X6 50i. I would probably have chosen this over the 50i if it was available when I bought my X6.
