BMW does not Manufacture any suspension items (among most items). They contract Lemforder, TRW, Corteco,Meyle and many other manufacturers depending on whoever they have a contract with. There are no "B" grades when made from the same Manufacturer. If you can find the logo/brand on the "BMW" arm, you'll then know who made it for BMW.
Keep in mind, most suspension pieces are now also made in Turkey, Poland, Romania and yes even China. The days of German Made products are getting slimmer.
Meyle HD is not a bad bet if you want something slightly better than OE.
