Hey fellas. Just picked up a 2011 X5 35d here. We've made a few full tank trips (450 miles) and despite trying to keep speeds at or below 75 and really never getting on it, I struggle to get 25mpg. So far, mixed driving with really really light on the foot (and shifting early manually) I get 20-21.
We are running Continenental DWS's on the Style 335's. 255 width on a square set of 19x9's.
How are you guys getting close to 30mpg??? What is impeding our fuel economy? I recently replaced the thermostat hoping that would fix it (temp was only ever getting to 78-80).
Thoughts?
