I am a believer in lowering all of my vehicles. Lowering (coilovers if possible) improves handling and visual appearance significantly IMO. I usually ask the opposite question, "why don't they lower that car?". Putting wheels on a car without lowering looks awkward most of the time. Modding isn't always practical.
