Upper Glovebox Trim Replacement
My upper glovebox trim, like all of them eventually, began to seperate. Not sure why, but always thought this was an arduous process to replace. I found the instructions on ISTA and was surpised at the ease of removal. I swapped in the leather version of trim and plan on trying to repair the one I removed and add it to my reversible parts bin.
BEFORE YOU START, take pictures and/or all around gap measurements of your current upper glovebox trim...which assumes it's never been removed or you like the look of the current gap situation. Once you loosen the bolts for the upper trim you'll see there is a lot tolerance for final placement.
Everything is done with the glovebox open, except when removing the upper trim...it's easier with the glovebox closed. I have to say, this trim piece is bolted down with SIX screws...which is just...WOW.
