Just buy one of them from Ebay, look exactly like the factory one( OEM fitment likely) will run you $150-$200 and installation will likely cost you couple hours and couple beers. My driver side is a aftermarket $150 one after a lady bump her smart car into my driver side. I'm a 250lbs man and I like to stand on the steps to access my roof boxes. Not breaking yet. For $600 I will just skip all the hassle and go to those lifted truck place get some n fab running board and custom installed, I got a quote for my X5 when my running board broke, its $400 plus tax. ( all currency in Canadian dollar and subject to Quebec labor rates and taxes... which is 15%)
Anyway aftermarket parts ain't as bad as you think, try to get one of those aftermarket one with reputable brands. Btw my tail light is also aftermarket cost me $200 works just like OEM.
