Multi piece are not a draw back it can be a plus in my opinion, if you do bend or crack something it's easy enough to get a new lip or inner barrel. I hit a rut hard (going way too fast) with my car when I was running 3 piece HRE wheels, i had them repaired at a local shop and it cracked again in the same spot so I sent them back to HRE and it was 100% not a flaw in the wheel but they replaced the inner barrel for just the cost of labor. The customer service with HRE is awesome, I sent to them asking for a new inner barrel fully expecting to pay and they came back with no charge and the wheels were about 6 years old, had been taken apart and had been painted all by a third party. Any other wheel company any one of the 4 things I had would given them an easy out on the warranty.

Here are the G35 wheels

I bought similar wheels for my X5

I had them on my X5M

I am actually planning on getting them re-lipped with 1" larger lips all around.
