Amen. The thing that is most prevalent to me is ride quality and weight (not to discredit noise, I loathe that as well). Car manufacturers go through Herculean efforts to shed unsprung weight...just take a look at the rotors of an Audi RS5. Yet, willingly slapping on 10+ lbs of incremental tire weight at each corner of "The Ultimate Driving Machine" is mind boggling. Shed RFTs, and watch your BMW finally drive like a BMW.
