On the BMW side I've owned a 2002 325xi wagon, 2004 M3, 2004 X3, 2006 M6, 2008 X5, and now an X6M.
Plus two Mercs, 2006 CLS55 and a 2008 CLK63 Black Series, and a 2009 Nissan GT-R.
All of these cars where pretty awesome but none of them were perfect. In fact the reason I jump from vehicle to vehicle more quickly than most people would is that their flaws drive me nuts (eg Mercedes putting automatics in everything).

I wouldn't call it my dream car.. but I really want one. I would much rather drive a GT-R over the CLK... but I had the opportunity to drive the CLK around for a day.. and that car is just the closest thing to race car mercedes has built for the road.. it is a confusing combination of raw and luxury.
