Yes mostly.

I kept the revs mostly below 5k for the first 1200 miles, although that entire 1200 miles was done as a road trip from up near Spartanburg after my PCD back to SoFla... including Tail of the Dragon and similar roads, varying gears and RPM's the entire time even on the freeway drive back to SoFla. I was in M mode with manual shifting the entire time also (still am, actually, most of the time) so I never hit kickdown mode, for example.

I definitely didn't redline it during that time, but I did occasionally hit 6k RPM. Once I hit 1200 miles, I let 'er rip - the break-in suggests some other interim period until 3000 (or was it 2000, can't remember) miles but I did not follow that.

What is your theory?
