I'm going to do something similar to your original post. I'm going to have my shop weld in a straight pipe for "M" mode and leave the regular drive mode quiet. This way, I can stay quiet on daily commutes and have it growl when I want it to.

No second thoughts whats so ever I actually love it.
I installed dry carbon tips on it last night (cyba carbon tips 90mm). Looks really good.
No drone on the car even thought I had removed my resonators a long time ago and no weird noises lol.
