I'm looking to add a new BMW for the growing family. We have a newborn daughter.

1. Would you recommend a BMW X5? What are some of the common issues I can expect? Any major maintenance costs?

2. Is there a big difference between the 2010 and 2011? I found some good deals on low mileage (<30k miles) 2010 BMW X5 4.8 Liter and 2011 BMW X5 3.0 Liter for low $30K. The 2010 X5 4.8 Liter had activity, tech, premium, and cold weather packages. Is this a good deal?
