I just bought black BMW Performance grills for my X5M from Tischer. But they look different than the ones the car came with. Did the X5 get new grills for the LCI facelift, or does the X5M come with different grills? I was thinking maybe the black grills they have in stock at Tischer were the pre-LCI black grills. I like the original shape better, so I'd like to exchange them if possible. I know I'm being picky, but little things like this bother me haha.
If you look closely, you can see the grill surround is thicker on the chrome one. Also, the slats aren't tapered and have a nice kink about 2/3 the way down.
