hey there. Yes it changes the OEM rings to a white color instead of yellow. They fit without modifications on the X5M Model. As for warranty, technically any modification to your car has the chance to void warranty, however there have not been any issues with the LUX H8 V3 angel eyes so that is nothing to be concerned about.
