In the dealers defense their inspection was performed a month ago. I found the rotor measurements in their notes. This is not a BMW dealer. I had not asked them to remove the wheels and check the rotors. This is my own research. But I'm sure they noticed the rotors were getting close to the end. That part annoys me.

I was able to find a picture last night of a front rotor. Min thickness stamped was 34.4. That leaves only 0.4mm remaining before it is at minimum spec. Am I crazy or does that sound like a couple months of driving before they are spent? I did not find any pics of the rear rotors but I suspect they are also close.

Would love to hear your opinions. I have no idea what the thickness is of new to gauge how much useful life is left. I intend to ask the dealer to check min thickness so I have complete information.

Thanks.
