No idea, no cognac expert here. But one website I saw (and it was sketchy) suggested around 110 Euro apparently.
Just remember, it was bottled in 1970. That doesn't tell you how old it is, as cognac, like scotch, does not age in the bottle. Unlike wine, which does.
I've got a whiskey bottled back in 1956 or something, but it doesn't matter. It was a cheap whiskey back then and it still is now. I'm just not opening it as it's sentimental to me - it was a bottle given to my grandfather on his wedding night which I've obtained when his belongings were getting cleaned out as he went to a nursing home. |
never seen this one before but my this is also my grandfather's. he just passed and I'm cleaning up his stuff and found a couple of these
