I have a 2007 x5 yesterday i started to notice the fan will turn on full speed after putting it into gear. I haven't gotten any warning lights on the dash and the car runs great just the fan is really annoying. Ive tried to put a newspaper in the fan to see if the fan was going bad as suggested on forums and it looks to be strong. Could this be the water pump also or a sensor ? I plan to take it to the shop just wanted to get an idea of what it could be since water pump replacement seems to be spendy.
I am new to BMW any suggestions are appreciated thanks.
