I"m leasing my X5 premium and I bought the wheel and tire package. I negotiated it down, but its well worth the headache especially if your deductible on your insurance is more than 300 bucks.
Supposedly my x5 didn't come with mats (which I believe is an outrage at this price point) but my salesman had them placed in the truck while it was being detailed.
I would try to see how much of your out of pocket cash payment you can have converted to a refundable security deposit that will allow you to get back at the lease end or use as part of securing the next lease.
