I should have clarified, but I found out later the update I did was not for the newest engine software (240E), but for the idrive, navigation, entertainment system...
Click Here. Enter your VIN# and put the file on a USB stick, then plug that USB stick into the middle console USB port and on iDrive goto "Update Software" youll see the progress and BOOM your done...I think it update some minor engine parameters as well as I did notice a smoother driveability and the MPG clearly was higher, but the temps have also dropped which may be the reason for this...
