My own xperience:It works from the front w/radar. Gave me lots of warning in advance of the police giving someone else a ticket in the oncoming lane on the highway.
Rear laser shifter activated by a lexus(?) or other laser guided cruise control. Upgradeable software on the web can update new foto radar intersections.
Friend has one installed on his Carrera 4s, saved his butt
2x already.
Make sure power wiring is on circuit 15 with the cig lighter.
The x6(& some X5s i'm told) battery suffers from too much electronic gadgets, accessories & urban traffic short trips restart draining. So the digital clock needs resetting frequently unless u trickle charge the battery once in a while.
Go fiqure..$80,000 Cdn. & u have to plug in the battery!
