On my 540 Msport manual I used redline. For my Automatics, I used OEM fluid. I just asked for a transmission service which included new transmission pan and filter (all one piece and made of plastic) and fluid. Not sure if it was completely flushed clean and only new fluid was left. Anyway you cut it, 90% new fluid is better than 100% old
