First of all, sorry you are having trouble with your X5. You should not be dealing with these issues. This is a BMW and it should act like one.

My advise is to take it in and if they cannot fix the car the they should buy it back under lemon law. (4 times for the same issue or 30 days in the shop) any decent lemon lawyer will jump on that cake.

They will buy it back and Hou can buy another one that does not have any problems.

I just sold my E53 X5 with 110,000 on it. Still ran great. And bought the new E70 X5 and own an E90 328 and an E92 M3. All are great cars.
