AAH man,, that's a bummer. I really though all sports activity package LCI versions can run these pedals.

Well unfortunately it did not work. 
Removing the airbag and wheel was simple enough. All the connectors were the same, except for the black 6 pin from the paddle shift wheel. I noticed that it had 6 wires to the connector, while the non paddle wheel had 4 wires to it's 6 pin connector. The female part of the connector did have 6 pins visible. This kind of lifted up my hopes because I assumed that the missing wires were for the paddle shift. So since the pins were on the slip ring, I assumed the wiring for the paddles was there.
Ah well at least all the other functions, including heat work. Plus I have a nice looking napa leather wheel. I'm going to keep it until some clever person finds out a way to do this retrofit. |
