Went with the X5M after debating this way too long....and I already have an M3.
Porsche nickel and dimes you for everything and my built became very expensive for a GTS, Turbo was even worse. Other posters have it right about best bang for your money. X5M looks more aggressive than X6M in my opinion. The interior Technology is a bit better in the BMW over the Porsche if that matters to you. Full Leather is a great option if you decide not to have black leather. Paid maintenance is a big deal too for these cars. HUD is the most underrated option, love it.
Hurry up for the X5M, they will not be available for long which may be good or bad in your eyes. My friend has a cayenne turbo and it pulls hard and it has a better exhaust note.
You will be happy either way.....
