Haha, that is the easier fix to make it fill out more visually, but lowering will help also. If you can't afford full on coilovers then there are a few companies selling lowering springs which only need to be swapped out. Dinan and H&R immediately come to mind. Be weary of certain brands of spacer though as I'm currently working with a company that has an incorrect fitment listed. H&R is a very safe bet though.
