Decided that the stock tips had to go. At some point I'll get to the exhaust mod in favor of a full exhaust upgrade because priorities. Found a set of 4" tips that I liked and bit the bullet. Some forum searching on 4" tips yielded no results, so the decision put me in unchartered waters.

For the tips that I got, there are rivets on the carbon fiber bodies that end up touching the adjacent tip when installed. It still however wasn't difficult to mount. Without rivets there should be around 3 mm clearance between adjacent 4" tips. After getting them installed, I couldn't be happier with the look... the tips are now better proportioned with the huge back end!
