I've had 4 BMW's over the last 17 years, never once had an electrical problem on any of them. I've had some other issues along the way, but mostly stuff to be expected on a used German car. What's the alternative, a problem free Toyota? Then I'm driving a boring appliance.
You have an extremely rare experience. No one, even my BMW service advisor, expects a BMW to be bulletproof like a Toyota. Speaking about a boring appliance, my GTR and Lexus GSF are very exciting and never had the problems I had with my 650i. Are BMW's problematic, yes. Do I still like them, yes, but with open eyes.
Nothing wrong with saying the truth about them.
