My X5D budget is also $30k. The 2011 and 2012s I am finding are just not a good value. No warranty and lots of miles. The 2010 and 2009 are much closer to $20k, have the same lack of warranty and similar miles. 2009s have the added benefit of all Sports having AD (but with older iDrive
). I plan to spend closer to $20k and bank the rest for parts. I generally fix my own car so self insuring is possible for me.
