Hi all,

I'm considering buying a X5M. There are attractive deals in the 120k to 150k mile range. I'm just wondering what kind of longevity can be expected from a well maintained S63. I have heard it's better than the notorious N63 but is it crazy to buy a hot V with those miles?

I daily an E93 M3 three seasons of the year, so I'm familiar and comfortable with the routine (and less routine - rod bearings) maintenance costs of M vehicles. My budget will support a fair amount of preventative maintenance and repair. But is it going to blow up in 50k miles, or are these machines good past the 200k mile mark?
