Malone tune has conservative rail pressure. Stacking the JBD will add power but can also damage injectors. 1900bar is about max the Injectors will handle. The rail sensor maxes at 1840bar. The JBD tricks the sensor thus tricking the dde. Too much pressure will damage the Injectors.
Truth be told, power is limited my the torque limiters, so, if you’re adding fuel via a JBD, you’re till limited by the torque limiter. Lastly, the edc17cp09 dde uses Lambda for tuning. If you stack the JBD and you add fuel, the DDE will adapt eventually pulling fuel other ways to hit target lambda.
