I think you will be pleasantly surprised with the MHD tune, just last night my vehicle just wanted to keep pulling even doing an 80 roll. I used the MHD on my old N54 335i and loved it. So I'm sure you'll see differences in both your cars
To answer your questions, yes there is a better throttle response which really makes a difference. I haven't tried the liner throttle option, this weekend I'll mess around with more settings after I find my tablet charger.
