Good Post, Double-Oh Palbay! (How could I say anything else when you had almost the same reactions I did?)
Interesting that we both noticed turbo lag in the TT six engine and yet nothing has been written about it anywhere. It may be to do with the engine being in a big, heavy vehicle; perhaps in lighter cars the lag wouldn't be (so) noticeable.
I am envious that you managed to get out on some twisties. There was too much traffic when I had my drive to see what happened in spirited driving on winding roads. After reading your post, I can't wait to get out there!
