No.
Based on BMW's history since about the mid 90's, reliability is a hit-or-miss ...
It also depends on what your definition of "reliability" is .... is. And what you're willing and able to tolerate in return for driving the Ultimate Driving machine.
IMO, compared to other brands, they're going downhill. But the driving experience is unique ... and at the same time, my personal tolerance level is inversely proportional to sub par quality.
