+1 on the X6. The xDrive35i is a very nice engine.
If you do need/prefer a X5 instead. I'd strongly recommend the 4.8 w/sports package over the 3.0 sports. The difference is power is very noticeable, while the fuel economy is really not that different.
I'd recommend the sports on both 3.0 and 4.8. Makes a big difference in handling.
