If I were you, I'd either remove the existing clear bra and leave it as is, or replace it with new 3M/Xpel/take your pick.

Thanks for the reply - I'm a perfectionist myself, which is why the current application is bothering me. I don't even know that it's yellowed, but it is a slightly different shade than the paint w/o the film.
I'm also considering having the front license plate holes filled in, professionally. I wish small stuff didn't bug me so much
