I was going to post my reply, but jdoublecubed said exactly what I would have said. I wouldn't do Inspection II ahead of time because that is only money that you will not recoup.
You didn't mention what car you bought that gets double the mileage but I hope that it gives you at least half the fun of driving your M Coupe!
