X5M rear camera and side view camera malfunction error - help
Hi. I just got a 2013 X5M last week and now I'm having some problems. when I put the car into reverses I get an error on navigation screen thats says rear camera malfunction, also I get a picture of a camera with exclamation
mark across it in the centre console. However the camera continues to work. The same thing happens with the side view camera! no flickering on the picture or anything like that other than the annoying error messages.
I took the car to the dealer, they had it for 2 days and apperently replaced some parts and recharged battery and said it's fixed. but it happened again last night! sometimes it takes some time for it to pop up.
anyone have any idea what the cause could be? maybe becuase the car was washed? moisture getting in somewhere?
