had that same problem with my 2010 x5m, took it to the dealer n they told me there was a service bulletin to replace a cable from camera to module, they did the cable n the problem is gone it's called a lvds cable pt#61-12-9-241-791 service bulletin sib 66-03-10 hope that helps
