So like everything else i usually dont buy extended warranties.
for the first time I regret not buying the extended tire protection.
The price of these monstrous tires aint cheap.
bringing it to the dealership = new tire
i've done this twice in a month
then it got so expensive i had no option but to plug it.

Over the past 6 months of owning this vehicle since about august i have had nothing but troubles on the road. i have replaced both rear tires from nails and plugged my rear right twice.

some are small nails or screws and others are industrial size as if they fell off a truck.

has anyone else had such bad experiences with these tires? i've gone years without a punctured tire before and in this vehicle with the sport package tires its like nails to glue on the road.

I'm in the tri-state NY/NJ also looking for alternative tire recommendations, i checked tirerack but they do not seem to offer insurance protection on these tires. Called Geico and they do not offer it either, BMW wont sell tire insurance after the fact, i tried twice and begged.
